Our goal is to maintain a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for everyone. Any violation of this Policy may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

1. Eligibility

Hoogsy is intended exclusively for individuals who are at least 18 years of age.

Users must provide accurate information during registration and confirm that they meet the minimum legal age requirement. Accounts determined to belong to minors will be permanently removed immediately upon discovery.

2. Respectful Use of the Platform

Users are expected to interact respectfully with others at all times.

The Platform must not be used to harass, intimidate, threaten, exploit, manipulate, or abuse any individual.

Users are solely responsible for the content they publish and the interactions they initiate.

3. Prohibited Content and Activities

The following content and activities are strictly prohibited on Hoogsy.

Illegal Activities

Users may not use the Platform to:

Commit or facilitate criminal activity.
Violate applicable local, national, or international laws.
Promote illegal goods or services.
Engage in money laundering or financial crime.
Organize or facilitate illegal transactions.

Child Safety

Hoogsy has a zero-tolerance policy toward child exploitation.

The following are strictly prohibited:

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
Grooming or attempting to contact minors for sexual purposes.
Sexual exploitation of minors.
Content depicting minors in sexually suggestive situations.
Requesting, distributing, or storing CSAM.

Any suspected CSAM or child exploitation will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation

The Platform must never be used to facilitate:

Human trafficking.
Sex trafficking.
Forced labor.
Sexual exploitation.
Coercion.
Prostitution or escort services involving exploitation.
Recruitment or transportation of individuals for exploitative purposes.

Any accounts associated with such activities will be permanently removed and reported where legally required.

Non-Consensual Content

Users may not upload, publish, transmit, or share:

Intimate images without the subject's consent.
Revenge pornography.
Secretly recorded intimate material.
Manipulated intimate images intended to deceive or harass.
Any content involving coercion or abuse.

Only content that users have the legal right and permission to share may be uploaded.

Fraud and Scams

Users may not:

Impersonate another person.
Create fake identities intended to deceive others.
Conduct romance scams.
Request money under false pretenses.
Perform phishing attacks.
Distribute malware.
Engage in financial fraud.

Harassment and Abuse

The Platform may not be used to:

Bully or intimidate others.
Threaten violence.
Stalk users.
Encourage self-harm.
Promote hate speech.
Discriminate against protected groups.
Repeatedly send unwanted messages.

Spam

Users may not:

Send unsolicited advertisements.
Send bulk messages.
Create automated accounts.
Scrape data.
Use bots without authorization.

Intellectual Property

Users must not upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.

4. Profile Authenticity

Users are expected to create truthful and authentic profiles.

The following are prohibited:

Impersonating another individual.
Creating profiles using another person's photos without permission.
Creating accounts on behalf of another person without authorization.
Providing intentionally misleading identity information.

We reserve the right to request additional verification where suspicious activity is detected.

5. User Content

Users remain responsible for all content they upload.

By submitting content, users confirm that:

They own the content or have permission to publish it.
The content complies with applicable laws.
The content does not violate this Policy.
The content does not infringe the rights of others.

6. Reporting Violations

Users are encouraged to report any content or behavior that violates this Policy.

Reports may be submitted through:

The in-app reporting feature available on user profiles and messages.

Reports should include, where possible:

The username or profile link.
Screenshots or supporting evidence.
A description of the incident.
The approximate date and time.

Reports are acknowledged within approximately 24 hours and are generally reviewed within 72 hours. Most moderation decisions are completed within 7 business days, although complex cases may require additional time.

7. Review Process

All reported content and accounts are reviewed manually by our Trust & Safety team.

Depending on the nature and severity of the reported conduct, we may:

Request additional information from the reporting party or the reported user.
Temporarily restrict or suspend the account while the investigation is ongoing.
Remove content that violates this Policy.
Permanently suspend or terminate accounts that commit serious or repeated violations.
Preserve relevant information where legally required.
Report unlawful activity to competent law enforcement authorities where required by law.

Serious reports involving child sexual exploitation, human trafficking, non-consensual intimate content, credible threats of violence, or other significant safety risks are prioritized for immediate review.

8. Enforcement

We reserve the right to take any action necessary to protect users and maintain the integrity of the Platform.

Possible enforcement actions include:

Issuing a warning.
Removing content.
Limiting platform functionality.
Temporarily suspending an account.
Permanently terminating an account.
Reporting unlawful conduct to competent authorities.

Some violations may result in immediate account termination without prior warning.

9. Appeals

This appeal process applies to:

Content removals;
Profile removals;
Temporary account suspensions;
Permanent account bans.

Users may submit an appeal by emailing contact@hoogsy.com.

Appeals should include:

The registered email address associated with the account;
The username;
The reason why the user believes the moderation decision was incorrect;
Any supporting information or evidence.

Appeals are reviewed manually by our Trust & Safety team. Whenever reasonably possible, the appeal is reviewed by a moderator who was not involved in the original decision.

Our standard appeal process is as follows:

Appeal acknowledgement within approximately 24 hours;
Initial review within approximately 72 hours;
Final decision generally within 7 business days.

Possible outcomes include:

Restoration of removed content;
Restoration of a removed profile;
Reinstatement of a suspended account;
Request for additional information;
Confirmation that the original moderation decision will remain in effect.

Where an appeal is denied, the original moderation decision remains in force. Accounts involved in child sexual exploitation, human trafficking, non-consensual intimate content, fraud, or other severe violations may remain permanently banned and may be reported to competent authorities where required by law.

10. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Hoogsy cooperates with law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities where required by applicable law.

Where legally permitted or required, we may preserve and disclose relevant information relating to investigations involving:

Child exploitation.
Human trafficking.
Fraud.
Threats of violence.
Terrorism.
Financial crime.
Other unlawful activities.

11. Monitoring

To help maintain a safe platform, Hoogsy may use automated systems together with manual moderation to identify potential violations of this Policy.

We may review profiles, images, messages, and other content where permitted by law, particularly when content is reported by users or flagged by our safety systems.

12. Policy Updates

We may modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time.

Material changes will become effective upon publication on this page unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
